This technology uses the principle of osmosis, wherein the mineral concentration of raw water is reduced by applying high pressure through a semi-permeable membrane. RO technology offers maximum flexibility to meet diverse requirements. Our customised software, helps customers gain the maximum ‘RO Advantage’, by helping to make the right selection. It gives the right solution, and reduced the investment cost. The production range starts from 50 LPH (Liter per hour) to 100 M3 per hour for 400 TDS to 45,000 TDS.

D.M.Plant

Demineralisation plant offered by us is based on cost effective ion technology with counter current regeneration. DM Plant is the process of removing mineral salts from water by using the ion exchange process. The DM plants are loaded with highly efficient CATION and ANION exchanger and are also loaded with degasification system to remove every trace of minerals from the system. The raw water called influent water is first passed through the CATION resin bed containing SAC Resin in H + form. Ca , Mg & Na are removed and the salts are converted to their respective acids .The corresponding acid containing ANIONS like Cl , SO4 , NO3 are removed by passing the CATION effluent through ANION column containing ANION resin in Hydroxyl Form. The hydrogen ion from CATION neutralizes the hydroxyl ion and produces pure water. The demineralization bed is provided with strong CATIONS and ANIONS to produce 100% pure water.

In Two Bed DM Plant, Strong Acid Cation Exchanger and Strong Base Anion Exchanger resin are used for reducing Total Dissolved Solids up to 2 – 5 ppm. Degasification unit is also provided to decrease the load on ANION Unit. Mixed Bed Units are used in series with Two Bed DM Plant as a polisher unit which can produce treated water having conductivity < 1 mS/cm.

The membrane separation process known as nanofiltration is essentially a liquid phase one, because it separates a range of inorganic and organic substances from solution in a liquid – mainly, but by no means entirely, water. This is done by diffusion through a membrane, under pressure differentials that are considerable less than those for reverse osmosis, but still significantly greater than those for ultrafiltration. It was the development of a thin film composite membrane that gave the real impetus to nano filtration as a recognised process, and its remarkable growth since then is largely because of its unique ability to separate and fractionate ionic and relatively low molecular weight organic species.

NF membranes are also used for the removal of natural organic matter from water, especially tastes, odours and colours, and in the removal of trace herbicides from large water flows. They can also be used for the removal of residual quantities of disinfectants in drinking water

Ultra Filtration Plant

Ultra filtration System is proposed in pretreatment and post treatment. Ultra Filtration work on cross flow filtration principle and designed operates at around 85% recoveries. Ultra Filtration is a tangential flow, pressure driven filtration process that separates particles on the basis of their molecular size. Pore diameters of ultra filtration membranes are in the range of 10 to 200 A (0.001 to 0.02 micron). Solvents and species having a diameter smaller than the pore size of the membrane will pass through the membrane and emerge as ultra filtrate, known as permeate. Rejected species are progressively concentrated in the retained stream. Ultra filtration membranes are reusable and cleanable with standard chemicals.
